During heat wave this summer my family and I went to Italy. I took colorful photos of landscape, streets, foods & wildlife in Tuscany, Manarola-Cinque Terre & Rome. This shot is in Val d’Orcia, Tuscany. This region is protected as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

During a roadtrip, we stopped to enjoy the beautiful view of the hills in Tuscany. I took several shots of the landscape, and I thought that the pure nature photos would be the best ones. But it turned out that this small, powerful, and loud Italian car is the one thing that makes this picture pop, because it gives contrast to the calm scenario.

I had one day in Florence while our stay in the Tuscany and had really luck with the weather! After some raindrops the sun came out behind the clouds and we had a wonderful sunset sky.

The typical Italian Gothic building, the Cathedral of Florence, is dedicated to “Santa Maria del Fiore”. The church was designed by Arnolfo di Cambio (c1245-1302) who considerably enlarged the existing religious structure. Finished around 1367, the Cathedral was completely covered by coloured marbles like the earlier Baptistery, except for the façade that remained unfinished and was terminated only in the 19th century. - www.museumsinflorence.com

On a trip to Florence, had a chance to capture this from the top of the Duomo, overlooking the city. The trip up the stairs to the top is not a simple one but the view is well worth it.

The cathedral includes the famous Il Duomo, the world’s largest freestanding dome without a supporting wooden frame. Started in 1420 and completed in 1436, it was created by the architect Filippo Brunelleschi.

This picture was taken from the gardens in the heights of Florence. This is probably one of the most peaceful place I know right in the middle of a city : this view is just amazing 😎

I was on my trip to Monaco when I took this picture. I decided to let me go by the little country as I visited unknown places. I just wanted to get lost and to discover amazing places I wouldn’t otherwise have found. So I got to a point where I was completely lost and I just entered into this mysterious but beautiful alley. I just had to take a picture of it.

Florence's cathedral stands tall over the city with its magnificent Renaissance dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi, with the baptistery right across. The cathedral named in honor of Santa Maria del Fiore is a vast Gothic structure.

I was at the top of Mount Subasio, a big mountain in Umbria famous for a little, holy city: Assisi. I was with my friend enjoying the sunset when suddenly 3 horses passed by me and runned away.

Whilst enjoying a sunset in Livorno, Italy, this man passed by on his paddleboard. The setting sun, and his passing by, set up this awesome photo.

I was leaving Norcia, one of the cities that have been destroyed by a series of earthquakes between 2016 and 2018. Down there, from the city, you can see these moving giants, threatening, and yet so beautiful.

A long ride in a summer night to meet the famous flower filelds of Castelluccio di Norcia. Castelluccio di Norcia is a small town on the top of a hill in Umbria, the heart as well as one o the most beautiful region of Italy. The fields of lentils are completely covered with poppies, cornflower and canola after their flowering and color these endless fields that extend as far as the eye can see. Visit these places at least once in your life: they will fill your heart and mind with a beautiful memory.

This is a couple understanding where to go in Rome. She has a beautiful flower dress, he wears a vintage hat and in the background there is a man that will play his violin in all white suit. Everything talks about a beautiful day, Rome and Piazza di Spagna.

Ponte Vittoria Emanuelle II in it’s nightlighting is a beautiful bridge crossing the Tiber in Rome. I saw the bridge with St. Peter’s church in the background and just wanted to freeze the moment in time. The only way to capture the beaty it deserved was by taking an HDR image.

I was in Rome with my mother and I wanted to show her first Piazza di Spagna. We didn’t know of the festivity of the day. There was the troop playing and thousands of people watching. The music, all the flowers and the hot sun were creating a classic italian summer image. This was like smiling but not expecting to do it.
